post=149194The DS version has a different battle system. :-/
Just bought Rhapsody for my DS. A friend had it on PS1 when I was younger and I thought it was alright at the time (I hadn't played many tactical RPGs then, though, so the concept was really unique to me!). Plus, it was only £5!
And the PAL version (which I assume is the one you bought) has a bug that occasionally messes up the character art during dialog. (ie, Cornets face is shown but Kururu is talking) It's okay for 5 pounds I guess.

Dragon Quest IX
It's an ok game. They could've done a bit better at spicing up the rusty gameplay. The graphics are pretty impressive for a DS game, even though it lags a lot. I really, really liked it that equipment changed the character's appearance though!
Is a FF Legend 3 battle system possible with RM2k3?
I actually know of a script which can do this effect for RPG Maker XP. It's in Japanese though, so I'm not sure if it'll work with the English version :-/
Simple Instructions and Tips if you’re having difficulty installing a Game.
Maybe you should mention that some Japanese games like Yume 2kki require the Japanese RTP to run properly.
